Deanna Araian is a creative writer & poet based in New Jersey.

Her journey with words began long before she started creative writing in 2020 during the lockdown of the COVID-19 pandemic. From a young age, Deanna was captivated by the power of stories and began journaling as early as the first grade, planting the seeds of her lifelong love for writing.

When the world slowed down in 2020, Deanna found solace in her poetry, using it as a way to navigate through every situation she encountered. Her poems delve into themes of losing your way, the pursuit of happiness, and the spontaneous bursts of creativity inspired by the world around her. Through her writing, Deanna discovered how far her imagination could take her, creating a safe haven in the verses she penned.

Since then, Deanna has composed over 60 poems, each one holding a piece of her journey. She hopes that readers will find joy, comfort, or even a sense of connection in her work, just as she did while creating it.
